//Glossary
Spot repair (sewer)
Replacing only the failed section of a sewer line, located by camera and marked on the surface, instead of the whole run. The rest of the lateral stays in service.
When is a spot repair the honest answer?
When the camera shows one bad joint, one crack or one short belly and the rest of the pipe is sound. Replacing sound pipe is paying for something you do not need. When the failures are spread along the line, or the material is breaking down everywhere, a spot repair only buys time.
//At Done-Rite
Done-Rite's sewer line repair service is a spot repair of the failed section, so you are not paying to replace pipe that is still sound.
