Gas leak test
Checking gas piping for leaks with combustible-gas detection along the run and a pressure test that isolates the section holding the leak. It identifies exactly what to repair instead of replacing the whole system.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Leave the building, do not operate switches or anything that can spark, and call the gas utility's emergency line from outside. A plumber repairs the piping; the utility handles the immediate hazard and the meter.
