//Glossary
Slab-on-grade foundation
A foundation where the house sits directly on a poured concrete slab, with water and drain lines run beneath or within the concrete. There is no crawl space under the floor.
What does a slab foundation change about plumbing repairs?
Access. A leak under the slab cannot be reached from below, so it has to be located precisely from above, then either opened through the floor or bypassed with a reroute. Detection accuracy is the whole game, because every extra square foot of opened concrete is cost and disruption.
//At Done-Rite
Done-Rite works both slab-on-grade and raised-foundation homes across Orange County. Which tracts and build eras carry which foundation is not something the site publishes without operator confirmation.
